The header image above is a nod to my previous position at Chemnitz University of Technology. It shows Chemnitz's famous "Nischl" with this vision scientist's little twist: It is a stereogram of a hollow-face illusion in which the face may appear to be convex, but what is actually shown is the concave side of a mask. When the two images are fused - essentially by crossing your eyes a little - the binocular information conveys this.
